Good afternoon parkrunners!

We will be hosting a special New Year's Day parkrun event on January 1st at 10:30am! Many locations across the globe will be participating in this annual tradition. Ever year there are only 2 events for every country where a parkrun may be scheduled on a day and time other than the usual Saturday at 8am or 9am.

So start 2020 strong by joining us in this fun and physically active event. Bring your family to Gillies Lake, everyone is welcome! If you haven't registered with parkrun already you can do so here for free. Once registered all you need is to bring your personal barcode, be it a print-out or on your phone.

This week 4 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 2 were first timers from Sudbury and 0 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 1 different clubs took part.

The male record is held by Alex LAPOINTE who recorded a time of 17:59 on 10th August 2019 (event number 12). The female record is held by Jenna KIM who recorded a time of 21:27 on 28th September 2019 (event number 19). The Age Grade course record is held by Alex LAPOINTE who recorded 77.39% (17:59) on 10th August 2019 (event number 12).

Gillies Lake parkrun started on 1st June 2019. Since then 137 participants have completed 508 parkruns covering a total distance of 2,540 km, including 129 new Personal Bests. A total of 36 individuals have volunteered 141 times.
